This is a short animation I created recently inspired by the British Pop Archive I visited in October 2022. It could promote the BPA exhibition at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library at the University of Manchester.

The exhibition contains items relating to Joy Division, The Smiths, New Order, Granada Television, Factory Records and The Haçienda, and celebrates UK popular culture, youth culture and counter culture.

In this personal project I used elements of the fantastic branding created for the British Pop Archive by Studio DBD as well as images of the musicians sourced online.

I was hugely inspired by the animated flyer by Peter Ogunmola as it only contained still images but the author made them very dynamic by animating them.
